My father finally picked out a house in Vegas. Moving is getting closer. :D

I've lived in Nevada since 1994 and of that time lived in the City of Las Vegas every year except 2013 and 2014. Living in Vegas has certain benefits. Lots of entertainment options. Hiking. Boating. LVMS and all their facilities. Mostly good weather. Pretty good junkyards with sometimes decent selections and sometimes totally stripped carcasses. 24/7 options for most things.

Moving from a small town in Ohio to a place like vegas is going to be a bit of a culture shock to me. I haven't been in a large city like that since I was 14 or so. I'm excited though. Hopefully once I get settled I can start looking around for a project car, and various other shenanigans.

Sounds much like when we moved out here from Massachusetts. I had been to California but had never been to Nevada. It is weird not having 4 distinct seasons. If you're looking for cars out here, I think CL is a bit overpriced but the cars are generally solid but have high miles.
